How our divination is calculated

BaZi (Four Pillars) uses the solar-term calendar: the year begins at 'Li Chun' (Start of Spring) and months change on solar terms. From your birth data we derive the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch of the year, month, day and hour pillars, then tally the five elements. This step is pure, reproducible calendrical calculation.

ZiWei Dou Shu casts the twelve palaces, the brightness of the main stars and the four transformations from your birth date and time — the skeleton of the chart.

These are metaphysical traditions passed down for centuries. We chart them faithfully by the classical rules, but we do not dress them up as modern science.

Human Design needs two charts: the 'Personality' chart at birth, and the 'Design' chart about three months before. The Design moment is solved precisely as the instant the Sun was 88° of arc earlier — not a rough 88-day estimate.

We compute 13 celestial bodies at both moments from astronomical ephemeris, convert them into the activated gates of the 64-gate wheel, then derive your Type, inner Authority, Profile and channels from a deterministic table — the calculation layer involves no AI guesswork.

Chiron is a minor body that standard ephemeris engines don't include, so we use a table of the dates Chiron entered each sign (1926–2045, including every retrograde back-and-forth), based on Cafe Astrology's Chiron tables and cross-checked against Zane Stein and the Siddhantika ephemeris. It is accurate to the sign; if your birthday falls within a day of a sign change, we ask for your birth time rather than guess.

The North Node is also a table lookup, not an arc-minute calculation: we use the dates the mean node entered each new sign (roughly every 18.6 months, 1944–2029). It is accurate to the sign; if you were born within about two weeks of a sign change, your node may fall in the neighbouring sign.

From your birth date or a number, we compute the result by the relevant number system (Life Path numerology, number 'energy', etc.). The process is fully reproducible. It's a Western and folk number tradition, offered for reflection and reference.

The system draws a random tarot spread, then reads it through each card's meaning and symbolism to offer reflective, projective insight — useful for seeing things from a new angle and processing how you feel right now.

We frame them honestly as inspiration and entertainment. They do not claim to predict the future, and are never used to frighten or pressure you.

Palm reading follows traditional palmistry: first the hand type (metal, wood, water, fire or earth) from palm shape and finger length, then the life, head and heart lines and the minor lines. Face reading follows traditional Chinese face reading: face shape, the three facial zones (upper, middle, lower), the features and any visible moles.

Only features that are clearly visible in your photo are read — if the light is too dim, the angle is off or something can't be seen, we'll ask you to retake it rather than guess. It's a traditional way of observing, used to reflect on where you are and your habits right now; it is not a prediction, and it never labels your personality from your looks or your lines.

Based on the dream you describe, we look at common symbols from folk dream lore and at psychological views (such as Jung's) on how dreams relate to your emotions and recent experiences, to suggest what the dream may be saying.

Dreams mean different things to different people, so we treat this as a prompt for self-reflection — never as an omen of good or bad luck, and never to frighten you.
