Common questions
If my chart is short of one element, must I wear a stone from that element?
The tradition is not as direct as "top up whatever is missing". A BaZi chart is read as a whole: sometimes a weak part is supported, sometimes an over-strong part is drawn off. In practice most people look at the overall balance first and decide from there. A free reading will show you your own distribution.
Can one bracelet mix different elements?
Yes, and it is common. Most people settle on one main element and add one or two supporting colours so the piece still reads as a whole. In the design tool you can mix freely and see the finished look and the price as you go.
How were these element pairings decided?
They follow the colour-and-element tradition: white, silver and gold for Metal; green for Wood; black and deep blue for Water; red, pink and purple for Fire; yellow, tan and brown for Earth. Schools differ on some placements — we use one common standard consistently across the whole site.
