What made to order means at Qi Yi Crystal
A custom bracelet does not exist until you order it. Once payment is confirmed, the beads you chose are hand-strung in our only shop, at No. 37-22, Yuying Road, East District, Taichung, Taiwan, to the wrist size you entered. That shop carries a 5.0-star Google rating, and it is the single place every Qi Yi Crystal bracelet comes from.
Personalised, in our sense, covers the stones, the bead diameter, the overall feel (clear, mixed or opaque) and the size. Custom pieces are built mainly around clear-bodied, transparent natural crystal, there is no minimum bead count, and each bead's stone type and size is listed.
The flip side of made to order is that the bracelet fits one person. It cannot be returned except for genuine defects, so the few minutes spent on choosing and measuring are the part of the order that matters most.
Pick a starting point: five ways to design your own
Some Australian customers arrive knowing exactly which stones they want. Others were told their zodiac animal by a parent or grandparent and are now searching for it in English. Many of our overseas customers come from Chinese and other Asian families abroad, so the site works in English and Traditional Chinese, and the BaZi route handles the Chinese calendar automatically — you only type an ordinary date of birth.
To be plain about how the readings work: they are AI calculation, an algorithm. There is no fortune-teller or master behind the screen, and five-element, zodiac and star-sign pairings are folk culture and symbolism with no scientifically proven effect.
- Trait-based matching — no birthday asked. Choose 3 wish directions and receive a formula in about 30 seconds.
- BaZi five-element matching — enter a date of birth; adding the birth hour makes it more precise. The chart is generated automatically and the bead colours follow the five elements.
- Chinese zodiac or star sign bracelets — ready formulas for 12 zodiac animals and 12 star signs, each in women's and men's versions. This is the closest route if you came looking for a birth-month or zodiac bracelet.
- Custom builder — design your own bead by bead. Stone type, diameter and unit price per bead are published, and swapping a bead recalculates the total instantly.
- Style collections — chosen purely by colour, with no chart or formula involved.
Beads: diameter, clarity and what natural stone looks like
Beads come in 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. The smallest gives a fine strand that layers easily with a watch or other bracelets, the middle size is a comfortable middle ground, and the largest reads as a statement piece on its own. Because the builder publishes a unit price for every bead, you can see what moving up a size does to the total before you commit.
Natural crystal is not uniform. Ice cracks, cloud-like inclusions (veils) and slight colour variation from bead to bead are normal, not defects, and they are not grounds for returning a made-to-order piece. If you prefer a very even look, say so when choosing between a clear, mixed or opaque feel.
Wrist size: one number, in centimetres, nothing added
Australians already think in centimetres, which makes this step simple. Wrap a soft tape once around the wrist where the bracelet will sit, read the actual circumference and select that exact number. Sizes run from 11cm to 22cm in 0.5cm steps; a tape reading of 16.5cm means you choose 16.5cm.
Don't build in your own allowance for comfort. The system already calculates slack from the bead size, so an extra margin on top makes the finished bracelet too loose. Ordering for someone else? A bracelet they already own is no substitute for the wrist itself — ask for the wrist measurement, taken with a soft tape.

Timeline and gifts: add the two stages together
There are two stages. Hand-stringing in Taichung takes about 7–14 working days, and SF Express transit to Australia is about 3–6 business days after dispatch. Both are estimates only, and we do not promise an arrival date.
For a gift, add the making time and the transit together and then order early — for birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas or Lunar New Year alike. If the date is tight, an in-stock piece dispatches sooner because it has no making stage. Every parcel is trackable end to end, so you can follow it from Taichung to the recipient's door.
After you order: returns and help across the time difference
In-stock items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Made-to-order bracelets cannot be returned except for genuine defects.
