What made to order means here
A made-to-order bracelet at Qi Yi Crystal does not exist until you order it. Once payment is confirmed, the beads you chose are hand-strung in our one physical shop, at No. 37-22, Yuying Road, East District, Taichung, Taiwan, to the wrist size you entered. Nothing is assembled in Canada, and there is no Canadian workshop, counter or agent involved at any point.
Custom pieces are built mainly around clear-bodied, transparent natural crystal, and you can steer the overall feel toward clear, mixed or opaque. There is no minimum bead count, so a fine single-stone strand is as welcome as a full mixed design. Each bead's stone type and size is listed, and colour and texture vary from bead to bead.
Pick a starting point: five routes for five kinds of buyer
Personalized can mean very different things. For one person it is a bracelet built from a birth chart; for another it is simply the right shade of green in the right size. Choose the route that matches how you think, not the one that sounds most elaborate.
- You want a suggestion but would rather not share a birthday: trait-based matching. Pick 3 wish directions and a formula appears in about 30 seconds.
- You want a BaZi bracelet: BaZi five-element matching. Enter the date of birth, add the birth hour if you know it for more precision, and the chart is generated automatically. Bead colours follow the five elements.
- You are shopping by sign: Chinese zodiac and star sign bracelets, with ready formulas for 12 zodiac animals and 12 star signs in women's and men's versions.
- You already know the stones you like: the custom builder. Choose bead by bead; stone type, diameter and unit price per bead are published, and swapping a bead recalculates the total instantly.
- You care about colour and nothing else: the style collections, chosen purely by colour.
BaZi, zodiac and star-sign designs: what the reading is and is not
Many Canadian orders come from Chinese-Canadian families in cities such as Vancouver and Toronto, where a parent knows BaZi or the zodiac by heart and a son or daughter does the searching in English. The site is built for that household: it runs in English and Traditional Chinese, and the BaZi chart uses the Chinese calendar automatically, so nobody has to convert a birthday by hand.

Please read this part once and plainly. The readings are AI calculation, an algorithm; there is no fortune-teller, no master and no human reader choosing your stones. Five-element, zodiac and star-sign pairings are folk culture and symbolism with no scientifically proven effect. Treat the formula as a design brief with a story attached, and wear it because you like it.
Two numbers decide the fit: bead diameter and wrist size
Bead diameters are 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. The smallest gives a fine, light strand that layers well beside a watch; the middle size is the everyday choice; the largest carries real presence by itself on the wrist.
For wrist size, wrap a soft tape around the wrist and read the actual circumference. Sizes run from 11cm to 22cm in 0.5cm steps, and you choose that exact number. The system already calculates slack from the bead size, so do not pad the measurement for comfort; extra on top makes the bracelet too loose.
Site sizes are in centimetres. If your tape only reads inches, multiply by 2.54: for example, 6.5 inches × 2.54 ≈ 16.5cm. The full range of 11cm to 22cm is about 4.3–8.7 inches.

What it costs in Canadian terms
There is no Canadian-dollar price on the site, and we would rather say so up front. Prices are set in New Taiwan dollars and shown in Canadian dollars (C$) when you browse from Canada. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are charged in Canadian dollars at the amount shown before you confirm; PayPal is charged in New Taiwan dollars and converted by PayPal. The exact amount and currency you will be charged are shown before you confirm.
International shipping is already included in the displayed price; nothing is added for delivery at checkout. Overseas orders have a minimum of NT$1,500.
Import charges are a separate matter. Canada's duty- and tax-free allowance for couriered parcels from outside North America is low, so expect GST/HST, possibly duty, and a courier brokerage fee. These are paid by the recipient, we do not collect or absorb them, and CBSA is the authoritative source.

Planning the timeline, especially for a gift
Add two stages together. Hand-stringing takes about 7–14 working days, and SF Express transit to Canada is about 3–7 business days after dispatch, trackable end to end. Customs clearance sits inside that second stage and is outside our control. All timings are estimates only and we never promise an arrival date.
For a birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas or Lunar New Year, count backwards from the day and then order earlier than the arithmetic suggests. If the bracelet is a surprise, the hard part is the wrist size: a made-to-order piece cannot be returned because the fit was a guess, so find a way to get the recipient's actual measurement before you order.
Last check before you pay, and where to ask
Made-to-order bracelets cannot be returned except for genuine defects, while in-stock items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Ice cracks, cloud-like inclusions (veils) and slight colour variation are normal, not defects, so look at your bead choices with that in mind.

What is a BaZi bracelet, and do I need my exact birth time to order one?
