What the displayed price covers, and what it leaves out
Canadians are used to watching a cart total climb at the last step. Ours does not climb for delivery: international courier shipping is already included in the price you see on the product page, and nothing is added for it at checkout. The one rule is a minimum overseas order of NT$1,500. That figure is a minimum order, not a threshold that unlocks anything.
What the price leaves out is everything the Canadian border may assess on the parcel. We do not collect those charges and we do not absorb them, so they never appear in your cart. The section on duty and GST below explains what to plan for.
- Covered: the bracelet, hand-stringing for made-to-order pieces, and SF Express international shipping to your Canadian address.
- Not covered: GST/HST, any duty, and the courier's brokerage fee on arrival.
- PayPal is charged in New Taiwan dollars, so with PayPal the conversion and any fee are PayPal's, not ours.
No Canadian-dollar display: how the charge reaches your statement
Prices are listed in New Taiwan dollars, written NT$ or TWD. From Canada the site shows them in Canadian dollars (C$) as a conversion. The C$ figure is a conversion rather than a separate price list. If another currency appears, choose CAD in the currency menu at the top of the page.
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are charged in Canadian dollars at the amount shown before you confirm; PayPal is charged in New Taiwan dollars and converted by PayPal. That is why we cannot quote you a Canadian-dollar total in advance. What we can show you, and do, is the exact amount and currency being charged before you confirm payment.
Accepted methods are Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
Duty, GST/HST and brokerage on a parcel from Taiwan
Canada's duty- and tax-free allowance for couriered parcels from outside North America is low, so expect GST/HST, possibly duty, and a courier brokerage fee on a bracelet from Taiwan. All of these are paid by the recipient. If you are sending a gift to someone in Canada, that means the person receiving the parcel, so it is kind to warn them.
We deliberately do not quote amounts here, because the assessment is not ours to make. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is the authoritative source for how imported goods are assessed. When you compare our price with a Canadian seller's, add these charges to our side of the scale so the comparison is fair.
Two clocks: making time in Taichung, transit time to Canada
The first clock only runs for made-to-order bracelets. Each one is hand-strung in the Taichung shop, which takes about 7–14 working days. In-stock pieces have no making stage and dispatch sooner.
The second clock starts at dispatch. SF Express transit from Taiwan to Canada is about 3–7 business days, and that window includes customs clearance, which neither we nor you can hurry. Add both clocks together when you plan around a birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas or Lunar New Year, and order early. Every timing on this page is an estimate only; we never promise an arrival date.
Tracking the parcel, and who to message when it seems stuck
Every Canadian order travels with SF Express international and is trackable end to end, from the Taichung shop to your door. A pause in the tracking most often means the parcel is in the clearance stage, which is also when import charges are assessed.

Size it right the first time
A made-to-order piece cannot be returned because the fit is off, so measure carefully: wrap a soft tape around your wrist, read the actual circumference in centimetres, and choose that exact number. Sizes run from 11cm to 22cm in 0.5cm steps.
Do not pad the number for comfort. The system already calculates slack from the bead size you chose, and any allowance stacked on top makes the bracelet too loose.
- Bead diameters: 6mm, 8mm and 10mm.
- Wrist sizes: 11cm to 22cm, about 4.3–8.7 inches.
- Tape in inches? Multiply by 2.54 to get centimetres.
- No minimum bead count on custom pieces.
Returns, and what natural crystal looks like when you open the box
In-stock items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Made-to-order bracelets cannot be returned except for genuine defects.
A defect is not the same thing as a stone's own texture. Colour and texture vary from bead to bead: ice cracks, cloud-like inclusions (veils) and slight colour variation from one bead to the next are normal, not defects. Photos are for reference; the actual piece may differ slightly.
