What made to order means at Qi Yi Crystal
A personalised bracelet here is not an existing strand with a charm added. Nothing is strung until your order comes in. The beads you selected are then hand-strung in our one physical shop — No. 37-22, Yuying Road, East District, Taichung, Taiwan — to the wrist measurement you gave.
Custom bracelets are built mainly around clear-bodied, transparent natural crystal, and you decide whether the overall feel is clear, mixed or opaque. There is no minimum bead count, so a slim design with only a few featured stones is a perfectly normal order.
Because the piece is made for one person, it cannot be returned except for genuine defects. Everything else on this page is meant to help you get the choices right before you confirm.
Choose a starting point: five design routes
Think of these as five doors into the same workshop. Which one suits you depends on how much you want to decide yourself.
One plain statement before the list: readings on the site are AI calculation, an algorithm. There is no fortune-teller, no master and no human reader behind them, and five-element, zodiac and star-sign pairings are folk culture and symbolism with no scientifically proven effect.
- Trait-based matching — for people who do not want to enter a birthday. Pick 3 wish directions and receive a formula in about 30 seconds.
- BaZi five-element matching — enter a date of birth, and the birth hour if you know it for more precision. The chart is generated automatically and bead colours follow the five elements.
- Chinese zodiac and star sign bracelets — ready formulas for the 12 zodiac animals and the 12 star signs, in women's and men's versions. A handy shortcut when the bracelet is a gift.
- Custom builder — choose bead by bead. Stone type, diameter and unit price per bead are published, and swapping a bead recalculates the total instantly.
- Style collections — chosen purely by colour, with no chart involved.
Ordering a BaZi bracelet in English
Many of our customers are bilingual: BaZi and the zodiac are familiar from family conversations, but English is the language they search and shop in. The BaZi tool is designed for that situation. You type a normal calendar date of birth, the system handles the Chinese calendar automatically, and the resulting formula is explained in English.
If you are ordering for a parent or relative who prefers Chinese, the site also runs in Traditional Chinese, and a Traditional Chinese version of this guide is also available. The bracelet, the stringing and the courier are identical whichever language you order in.
A formula is a starting point and not a prescription. You remain able to open it in the builder and change any bead you do not like the look of.
The two measurements that matter: bead diameter and wrist size
Bead diameters are 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. The smaller size gives a finer line on the wrist and the larger a bolder one; 8mm sits between them. Since the bracelet is priced per bead, changing diameter changes the total, and the builder shows that as you go.
For the wrist, wrap a soft tape once around it and read the actual circumference. Sizes run from 11cm to 22cm in 0.5cm steps. If the tape reads 14.5cm, choose 14.5cm. Do not add anything on top: the system already calculates the slack from the bead size, and an inflated number produces a bracelet that is too loose.
Centimetres are the everyday unit in Hong Kong, but if you arrived from somewhere that measures in inches, multiply by 2.54. A wrist of 6.5 inches × 2.54 is roughly 16.5cm. The full range of 11–22cm is about 4.3–8.7 inches.
What you pay from Hong Kong: HK$ display, FPS, AlipayHK and duty
Prices are listed in New Taiwan dollars and displayed in HK$ as a conversion. The exact amount and currency charged are shown before you confirm payment, so check that screen rather than relying on mental arithmetic.
International shipping is already included in the displayed price; nothing is added for delivery at checkout. Overseas orders have a minimum of NT$1,500 — a minimum order, not a threshold for waiving a fee.
Under current policy Hong Kong does not levy customs duty on general personal-use imported parcels, so most customers pay nothing extra on arrival. If a local charge does arise it is paid by the recipient; SF Express notices and Hong Kong Customs rules prevail.

Timeline: a making stage, then the shortest courier leg we have
Hand-stringing a made-to-order bracelet takes about 7–14 working days. Once it is dispatched, SF Express international transit to Hong Kong is about 1–2 business days — shorter than to any other overseas market, simply because Hong Kong is the nearest one to Taiwan. The parcel is trackable end to end.
Both figures are estimates only and we never promise an arrival date. In practice the making stage is the part to plan around: for a birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas or Lunar New Year gift, add making time and transit together and order early. If you are short of time, in-stock pieces have no making stage and dispatch sooner.
Before you confirm, and where to ask
Run through three things on the order summary: the wrist size is the real measurement, the bead diameter is the one you meant, and the stones are the ones you want to live with. Remember that ice cracks, cloud-like inclusions and slight colour variation differ from bead to bead and are not defects.

Can I get a BaZi bracelet if I don't know my exact birth hour?
Yes. A date of birth is enough to generate the chart; the birth hour only makes it more precise. The Chinese calendar is handled automatically. If you would rather not enter a birthday at all, trait-based matching asks for 3 wish directions instead and takes about 30 seconds.
Can I pay with FPS?
Yes. FPS and AlipayHK are available to Hong Kong customers, alongside Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Prices are listed in NT$ and displayed in HK$ as a conversion, and the exact amount and currency charged are shown before you confirm payment.
How long does a made-to-order bracelet take to get to Hong Kong?
About 7–14 working days of hand-stringing, followed by about 1–2 business days of SF Express transit after dispatch. These are estimates only and no arrival date is promised. For a gift, add the two stages together and order early.
Is there anywhere in Hong Kong I can collect the bracelet or watch it being made?
No. Qi Yi Crystal has no shop, counter, stockist or pickup point in Hong Kong, and all stringing is done in our single shop in East District, Taichung. Orders are couriered to the address you give at checkout.
Should I choose a size bigger than my wrist so it isn't tight?
No. Choose the exact circumference you measured with a soft tape. The system already calculates the slack from the bead size, so sizing up yourself makes the bracelet too loose. Sizes are available in 0.5cm steps from 11cm to 22cm.
Can I return a custom bracelet?
Made-to-order bracelets cannot be returned except for genuine defects, because each one is strung for a specific wrist and set of beads. Natural ice cracks, inclusions and slight colour variation are not defects. In-stock items, by contrast, can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt.
Is delivery to Hong Kong charged on top of the bracelet price?
No separate delivery charge is added at checkout; international shipping is already included in the displayed price. The only condition is a minimum overseas order of NT$1,500.
