Online Tarot Reading: One Question, Three Cards

An online tarot reading is a question-led reading in which cards are drawn at random from the 78-card tarot deck (22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana) and interpreted by their meaning and position to reflect on your current situation.

The Qi Yi Crystal reading room uses a three-card Past · Present · Future spread. After the draw, an AI reading turns the card meanings into plain English. It works in any browser, and new members' first reading is free.

What you'll need

  • One question (the more specific the better, e.g. “Should I take this job offer?”)

How an online tarot reading works: 4 steps

  1. 1

Write your question: ask about one thing at a time and describe the situation.

  2. 2

Shuffle and draw: three cards are drawn at random from the full 78-card deck; each has a 50% chance of being reversed.

  3. 3

Read the positions: card one is the Past (how things got here), card two the Present (what you are facing), card three the Future (where things are heading on the current path).

  4. 4

Get the overall message: the AI reading ties the three cards into one story with practical next steps. Your readings are saved so you can come back to them.

Is it accurate? Our honest take

Tarot is a symbolic, reflective tool: the draw is random, and its value is in giving you a new angle on your feelings and options — not in predicting the future. For medical, legal or financial decisions, please talk to a qualified professional.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first online tarot reading really free?

Yes, for new members: within 14 days of signing up (with a Qi Yi Crystal account or LINE), your first tarot reading costs nothing. After that, each reading is 49 points (1 point = NT$1).

Is online tarot accurate?

Tarot is a symbolic tool and the draw is random. Think of it as a mirror that puts what you are stuck on into images and gives you angles you had not considered. Treat the result as reflection, not a forecast.

How many questions can I ask in one reading?

One question per reading works best — three cards can't map cleanly onto several questions. For a deeper look, the Deep Tarot reading draws five cards and lets you ask three follow-up questions within 30 minutes.

Is drawing Death, The Tower or a reversed card bad?

No need to worry. Reversed cards usually mean energy that is blocked or not yet expressed; Death is usually read as one chapter closing so another can begin, and The Tower as an old structure loosening so you can see clearly. The reading also suggests how to respond.

Is a human reader drawing and reading my cards?

No. Charts and calculations are done by code following fixed rules, and the reading is written by AI. There is no human reader. How each reading is calculated is published on our “How our readings work” page.
