How BaZi and the five elements are matched to crystal colours
In Chinese folk custom, BaZi (literally "eight characters") comes from your birth year, month, day and hour, and each pillar is read through the five elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Traditional practice links each element to a family of colours, and crystal bracelets are put together by choosing bead colours from those families rather than by picking stones at random.

How our AI charting works (and why there is no "master")
Our BaZi bracelet tool is an AI charting calculator, not a person. You key in your birth date; if you also know your birth time, the chart is more precise, and the system plots the pillars automatically and suggests bead colours based on the five-element colour correspondence described above.
We want to be clear about this because many Malaysian buyers expect a sifu or a master to hand-pick stones. Qi Yi Crystal does not employ fortune-tellers, and nobody performs blessings, consecration or rituals on your beads. What you get is a transparent, repeatable calculation plus crystal beads with every bead's stone type and size listed, hand-strung in our Taichung store.

No birth date? Use the 3-wish trait method instead
Plenty of people don't know their exact birth time, or simply don't want to give a birthday online. For that, we have a trait-based option: you pick three wish directions — the things you'd like the bracelet to represent for you — and the system returns a bead formula in about 30 seconds. No birthday, no chart, no waiting for a reply.
It's also the easiest starting point if you're buying a gift for a friend, a colleague or your other half and you obviously can't ask for their birth hour.
Zodiac, star-sign and free-choice custom options
If you'd rather shop the way you'd shop at a Malaysian mall — see it, like it, buy it — there are ready-made formulas by Chinese zodiac (all 12 animals) and by Western star sign (all 12), each available in women's and men's versions. These are pre-set designs, so there's no chart to fill in.
For full control, the custom builder lets you choose every single bead. The stone type, bead diameter and unit price of each bead are shown openly, and the total recalculates the moment you swap one bead — so you always know what you're paying for before checkout. There's no minimum bead count on a custom bracelet. And if you don't care about elements at all, the style series lets you shop purely by colour.

Bead sizes, wrist measurement and what natural crystal looks like
Bead diameters are 6mm, 8mm and 10mm, and wrist sizes run from 11cm to 22cm. Measure with a soft measuring tape around your wrist once and enter that actual number — do not add extra centimetres for comfort. Our system already calculates the strung length and fit for the bead size you picked, so adding your own allowance will make the bracelet too loose.
Custom bracelets are built mainly around clear-bodied natural crystal, and you can choose a clear, mixed or opaque texture depending on the look you want. Colour and texture vary from bead to bead, so you should expect internal fissures ("ice cracks"), cloudy veils and slight colour variation — these are normal, not defects. Ordering from Malaysia: payment, delivery, tax and returns
Prices are listed in New Taiwan dollars and shown to you in MYR as a conversion; the exact amount and the currency you'll be charged appear before you confirm payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. The minimum order value for overseas orders is NT$1,500, and international shipping is already built into the price — nothing extra is added at checkout.
Custom bracelets are hand-strung and take roughly 7–14 working days to make; in-stock items ship faster. After dispatch, SF Express typically takes about 2–5 business days to reach Malaysia with full tracking. All timings are estimates only and we don't promise a guaranteed arrival date, especially around festive periods.
On tax: most low-value parcels fall under Malaysia's de minimis exemption, but if duty or sales tax does apply, it is payable by the recipient under local rules. Do you have a shop or collection point in Malaysia?
No. Qi Yi Crystal has no branch, counter or pickup point in Malaysia, and none anywhere outside Taiwan. Our only physical store is in East District, Taichung, where the bracelets are hand-strung. Malaysian customers order online and receive delivery by SF Express.
Do I need to know my exact birth time for the BaZi bracelet?
No, the birth date alone is enough to generate a chart. Knowing your birth hour simply makes the chart more precise. If you don't want to enter a birthday at all, use the trait-based option — pick three wish directions and get a bead formula in about 30 seconds.
How much is shipping to Malaysia, and is there a minimum order?
International shipping is already included in the listed price, so nothing extra is charged at checkout. Overseas orders have a minimum value of NT$1,500 (shown to you in MYR). Delivery is by SF Express with tracking from dispatch to your door.
Will I have to pay import duty or SST when it arrives?

How do I measure my wrist — should I add 1–2cm for comfort?
Wrap a soft tape once around your wrist and enter that exact circumference in centimetres, anywhere from 11cm to 22cm. Please do not add extra centimetres: the system already factors in the strung length and fit for your chosen bead size, so adding more will make it too loose.
Is there a master who picks the stones or blesses the bracelet?
No. We use an AI charting calculator, not a fortune-teller, and we don't perform consecration or any ritual.
