5 things to check before you buy any crystal bracelet

- Sizing method: does the seller tell you exactly how to measure, or just ask 'S/M/L'? Wrist sizing is where most online bracelet orders go wrong.
- Lead time and aftercare: how long to make, and what happens if something is wrong? Ours: about 7–14 working days to hand-string a custom piece; ready-stock items ship faster.
- Honesty about natural texture: real crystal has ice cracks, cloudy 'cotton' inclusions and colour variation between beads. These are natural features, not defects — a seller who promises flawless stones is describing glass or resin.
Physical shop vs ordering online — which suits you?
Neither is better; they solve different problems, and plenty of Malaysians do both. Buying in person in KL, Penang or JB lets you feel the weight, see the true colour under daylight, try the fit on your own wrist and walk out with it the same day. That matters most if you are buying a gift tonight, or if you are very particular about a specific shade of stone.
Ordering online makes more sense when you want a specific combination that no shelf happens to be holding — a particular bead diameter, a mix of stones, a wrist size that sits between the usual ready-made lengths, or a men's version of a design. You trade same-day pickup for choice and for a piece made to your measurements. If you order from overseas, you also accept a courier wait and the possibility of import charges, so factor that in before comparing prices.
What Qi Yi Crystal actually is
Qi Yi Crystal (騏藝逸品) is a natural crystal brand based in the East District of Taichung, Taiwan. Every bracelet, including custom orders, is hand-strung in our one physical store; our Google rating there is 5.0 stars. We do not operate branches, agents, resellers or collection points in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Europe or the US — if you see our name on a local counter, it is not us.
Custom bracelets are built mainly around clear-body natural crystal, and you can choose a clear, mixed or opaque body texture depending on the look you want. Because each piece is strung by hand for one wrist, we are a better fit for people who want something specific than for people who need it by Friday.
Five ways to choose your bracelet online
You do not need to know anything about crystals or Chinese metaphysics to order. Pick whichever entry point feels natural to you:
- Choose by intention: select three directions you care about, no birth date needed, and a suggested combination appears in about 30 seconds.
- BaZi Five Elements matching: enter your date of birth (birth hour makes it more precise), and the system charts it automatically and selects bead colours mapped to the Five Elements.
- Zodiac and star-sign bracelets: ready-made formulas for all 12 Chinese zodiac animals and 12 Western star signs, in women's and men's versions.
- Full custom tool: pick bead by bead. Stone type, bead diameter and unit price are all shown, and there is no minimum bead count for a custom string.
- Style collections: simply choose by colour and design if you would rather not deal with elements or charts at all.
Getting the size right (please don't add extra centimetres)
Take a soft measuring tape, wrap it once around your wrist, and read the actual circumference in centimetres. Enter that exact number — our system already calculates the strung length and the comfort allowance based on the bead diameter you picked. If you add 1–2 cm 'to be safe', the bracelet will come out too loose.
Bead diameters are 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm, and wrist sizes from 11 cm to 22 cm are available. As a rough guide, 6 mm reads delicate and stacks well, 8 mm is the everyday middle ground, and 10 mm has more presence on a larger wrist. If you are unsure between two numbers, message us on WhatsApp before ordering rather than after.
Payment, delivery, tax and returns for Malaysian orders
Payment accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Listed prices are in New Taiwan dollars and shown to you converted into RM; the exact charge and the currency it will be billed in are displayed before you pay. International shipping is already included, so there is no separate courier fee at checkout, and there is a minimum order value of NT$1,500 for overseas orders.
Delivery is by SF Express with tracking from end to end. Custom bracelets take about 7–14 working days to hand-string before dispatch; ready-stock items go out faster. After dispatch, transit to Malaysia usually takes about 2–5 business days — an estimate for planning only, not a guaranteed arrival date.
On tax: most low-value parcels fall under Malaysia's de minimis exemption, so nothing extra is usually payable. If duty or sales tax does apply, it is settled by the recipient under local rules — we cannot pre-pay or waive it. For returns, ready-stock items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt; custom bracelets are made for one person's wrist and are not returnable except for defects.

Do you have a shop or pickup point in KL, Penang or Johor Bahru?
No. Our only physical store is in the East District of Taichung, Taiwan, and we have no branch, counter, reseller or collection point anywhere in Malaysia. Every Malaysian order is made in Taichung and couriered to your address.
How long will it take to reach Malaysia?
Custom bracelets need about 7–14 working days of hand-stringing before dispatch, while ready-stock items ship sooner. After dispatch, SF Express typically takes about 2–5 business days to Malaysia. These are estimates for reference only and we do not promise a fixed arrival date.
Will I have to pay import duty or SST?
Most low-value parcels fall under Malaysia's de minimis exemption, so usually nothing extra is charged. If duty or sales tax does apply, it is paid by the recipient according to local rules. We cannot prepay or waive these charges.
Can I pay in RM, and what cards do you accept?

How do I measure my wrist for the right size?
Wrap a soft tape once around your wrist and use that actual circumference in centimetres — sizes run from 11 cm to 22 cm. Do not add extra centimetres; the system already allows for the strung length and fit based on your chosen bead diameter of 6 mm, 8 mm or 10 mm.
My bracelet has tiny cracks and cloudy patches inside. Is it fake or damaged?
Neither — ice cracks, cotton-like inclusions and slight colour differences vary from bead to bead, are normal and are not defects. Photos are for reference; the actual piece may differ slightly.
Can I return a custom bracelet if I change my mind?
Ready-stock items can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receiving them. Custom bracelets are hand-strung for your specific wrist and stone choices, so they cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a defect. Please confirm your size and beads before ordering, or ask us on WhatsApp first.
