What a "BaZi bracelet" actually means

BaZi (八字), literally "eight characters", is the traditional Chinese birth chart built from the year, month, day and hour of birth. Each of those four pillars carries elemental qualities, and readers of this tradition look at which of the five elements are abundant and which are sparse.

In jewellery, this gets translated into colour: a bracelet is assembled from crystal colour families associated with the elements a chart emphasises. That is the whole idea behind the terms people search for — "bazi bracelet", "five elements bracelet", "feng shui crystal bracelet". It is a design system for choosing colours with cultural meaning, not a health or fortune product.

The five elements and their traditional colour families

These pairings are the standard folk correspondences used across Chinese-speaking regions. We use them to select bead colours; we do not claim any outcome from wearing them.

Earth (土) — yellows, ambers, browns and creamy tones

On the BaZi bracelet page you enter your date of birth; if you know your birth time the chart is more precise, and if you don't, the tool still produces a result. The system generates the chart automatically, shows the element distribution, and proposes a bead recipe in the matching colour families. You can accept it as-is or swap beads afterwards in the customisation tool.

To be completely straightforward: this is AI-driven metaphysics calculation. We do not have a fortune-teller or master on staff, nobody is "blessing" or consecrating anything, and no bracelet is sold with a promised result. What we do bring is Chinese metaphysics knowledge explained in plain English, which is hard to find from Western sellers.

Sizing, bead size and what natural crystal looks like

Wrist sizes are ordered in centimetres, from 11 cm to 22 cm (roughly 4.3 to 8.7 inches). Measure the actual circumference of your wrist with a soft tape and enter that exact number — do not add extra centimetres for comfort. Our system already calculates the strung length and fit for the bead size you chose, so adding length makes the bracelet too loose.

Bead diameters are 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm. 6 mm reads as delicate and stacks well, 8 mm is the everyday middle ground, and 10 mm has more presence on a larger wrist. Custom bracelets are built mainly from clear-bodied natural crystal, and you can specify a clear, mixed or opaque body for the overall look.

Each bead's stone type and size is listed. Veils, feathering, internal cloudiness and small colour variations between beads are normal, not defects. Our Google rating is 5.0 stars.

Ordering from the US, UK, Canada, Australia and beyond

We are honest about our footprint: Qi Yi Crystal has exactly one physical store, at No. 37-22, Yuying Rd, East District, Taichung, Taiwan, where the bracelets are hand-strung. There are no branches, stockists, pop-ups or pickup points in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea or Europe. Everything overseas is ordered online and shipped from Taiwan.

Prices are listed in New Taiwan dollars and displayed in USD as a conversion. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. International shipping is already included in the price, so nothing extra is added for delivery at checkout; the minimum overseas order is NT$1,500.

Custom bracelets take approximately 7–14 business days to hand-string; in-stock pieces dispatch faster. After dispatch, SF Express international express takes about 3–7 business days to the US, Canada, the UK and Western Europe, and about 3–6 business days to Australia, with tracking throughout. Do I need my exact birth time for a BaZi bracelet?

No — the tool works with your date of birth alone. Knowing the birth hour simply makes the chart more precise, because the hour is the fourth pillar of BaZi. If you're unsure, enter the date and proceed.

Is there a Qi Yi Crystal store or pickup point in my country?

No. Our only physical store is in East District, Taichung, Taiwan, and that's where the bracelets are hand-strung. We have no branches or collection points anywhere overseas, so all international orders ship direct from Taiwan.

How much is shipping to the US, UK, Canada or Australia?

Nothing extra — international shipping by SF Express is already built into the listed price and no delivery charge is added at checkout. The only threshold is a minimum overseas order of NT$1,500. Import duties or taxes, if your country applies them, are paid by the recipient.

How long will my bracelet take to arrive?

In-stock pieces can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Custom bracelets are strung individually to your chart, bead choices and wrist size, so they can't be returned except in the case of a defect. Message us on WhatsApp before ordering if you're unsure.

Why do beads look slightly different from each other?

Colour and texture vary from bead to bead — veils, internal feathering and small colour variations mean no two beads are identical; that's a characteristic of the material rather than a fault.
